Today's Earthquake - Earthquake 5.7 M Shake Sabang, Aceh, This Day, Not Potential Tsunami

Siaran Utama. An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.7 magnitude shook the Sabang City area, Aceh, Thursday (01/17/2019).

The earthquake that occurred at 09.53.02 WIB was located at 7.09 LU - 93.97 BT or more precisely 202 Km North-West of the City of Sabang, Aceh.

The earthquake was 165 kilometers deep.

The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) informed that the earthquake in Sabang, Aceh had no tsunami potential.


Several citizens admitted, the earthquake also reached Banda Aceh and occurred in a long time.

ﺍَﻟﻠَّﻬُﻢّ ﺇِﻧّﻲْ ﺃَﺳْﺄَﻟُﻚَ ﺧَﻴْﺮَﻫَﺎ ﻭَﺧَﻴْﺮَ ﻣَﺎ ﻓِﻴْﻬَﺎ، ﻭَﺧَﻴْﺮَ ﻣَﺎ ﺃَﺭْﺳَﻠْﺖَ ﺑِﻪِ؛ ﻭَﺃَﻋُﻮْﺫُ ﺑِﻚَ ﻣِﻦْ ﺷَﺮِّﻫَﺎ، ﻭَﺷَﺮِّﻣَﺎﻓِﻴْﻬَﺎ ﻭَﺷَﺮِّﻣَﺎ ﺃَﺭْﺳَﻠْﺖَ ﺑِﻪِ

Allâhumma innî asaluka khairaha wa khaira mâ fîhâ, wa khaira mâ arsalta bihi, wa a’ûdzubika min syarrihâ, wa syarri mâ fîhâ wa syarri mâ arsalta bihi

Artinya: “Ya Allah, sesungguhnya aku memohon kehadirat-Mu kebaikan atas apa yang terjadi, dan kebaikan apa yang di dalamnya, dan kebaikan atas apa yang Engkau kirimkan dengan kejadian ini.
