Narcotics Dealers Use Bird Cages to Circulate 11 Kilograms of Sabu
Era Fakta. North Jakarta Metro Police destroyed as many as 11,167.49 grams of sabuyang narcotics obtained from five different suspects in November 2018 ago.
The evidence begins with the findings of 2 grams of methamphetamine.
North Jakarta Metro Deputy Police Chief Adjunct Senior Commissioner Adi Vivid Agustiadi Bachtiar said the destruction of 11 kilograms of methamphetamine was preceded by the arrest of a suspect with the initials AL in the North Jakarta area.
"When AL was caught in Kelapa Gading, the drugs we found were 2 grams. Then we clarify the question, "Adi Vivid said on Wednesday (1/16/2019).
The team from the North Jakarta Metro Police Narcotics Investigation Unit then developed and it turned out that the items owned by the AL came from a dealer with the initials DY in the West Jakarta area.

DY asked his colleague AG to deliver AL orders. "The one who sold the goods at that time was the Great. "He was caught 30 meters from his DY house in the form of 5 grams of methamphetamine," he said.
After the raid, the police requested that AG notify DY's location until finally, it was secured not far from the location of the arrest, at his house in the Tamansari area, West Jakarta.
During the search for DY's house, methamphetamine>> evidence of methamphetamine was nearly 1 kilogram. They use a unique modus operandi, where illicit items are stored at the bottom of the bird cage.
"He said the system was fitted using a bird cage. So the bird cage at the bottom was closed, placed in an empty house in Tangerang City. Then taken by DY, "he said. After arresting DY, the police again developed to find out the identity of the supplier of the goods which was apparently given by a dealer with the initials WL.
WL was staked out in November 2018. "Finally, when we took 10 kilograms of goods in the Banten area, we did surveillance, got it at Sariasih Hospital, Tangerang City. WL make an appointment with the HR to take the 3 kilo, "Adi said.
HR was then arrested after receiving 3 kilograms of methamphetamine from WL. After it was confirmed that the items received by HR were methamphetamine, the police finally chased WL and then arrested him.
There were 7 kilograms of methamphetamine found in the WL car with the condition that it was in a cardboard box and wrapped in Chinese tea which had been ducted. The suspects were considered to violate Republic of Indonesia Law Number 35 of 2009 concerning Narcotics
